Chidera Eggerue could be anything beautiful, super gorgeous, super sexy and above all an expression-able encourager of self-acceptance and self-love.
Why taking her audience on the road of discovering the beauty in themselves, the writer who also goes by the name The Slumflower on social media became a popular sensation after she began her movement which trended with the hash tag #SAGGYBOOBSMATTER.

“I told my mum, when I turn 18 and get a job, I’m getting a boob job’ Chidera spoke to The Guardian about her inspiration in advocating the movement #SAGGYBOOBSMATTER. However, when she turned 18 and got a job, The Slumflower didn’t go ahead to have a boob job, she eventually thought about why girls like her with saggy, large boobs were expected to wear bras. Thanks to her belief and her struggle in fighting the shame attributed to large-boobed women going braless; it's really brave. At least we don't necessarily have to treat women as bodies anymore.
As time bloomed, it wasn’t only about the movement, The Slumflower nurtured to become a prominent writer who identifies as feminist. Her first book What a time to be alone is a recipe to self-help, a book that encourages choosing oneself over and over again till it becomes a norm. Her second book; a journal Scribble yourself feminist was described by Penguin book as the best journal for every feminist babe. And in 2020, The Slumflower gave the world a gift titled How to get over a boy. A book that will heal one from a severe heart break, a book that is intended to make one forget their ex-es and move on with their lives.
If you must know The Slumflower, know that she enjoys discussions against patriarchy, misogyny and toxic relationships. She created awareness of the #BLOCKHIMPARTY enabling women rediscover who they are in toxic relationship and pull out without being apologetic over their choices.
Moreover, in this recent state of global pandemic, Chidera is sending love through her Instagram page to her fans who feel so belittling of themselves. When you visit The Slumflower’s page on instagarm and get all those motivational vibes she is giving, the first thing you do is to connect deeply to yourself and balance the guilt you feel from within and if that isn’t enough, you can pick her first book “What a time to be alone” and heal yourself of toxic things circumventing you. Really it is the best time to be alone.
